How often do we really tell the truth? How often do we really believe the truth? Our mind is boundless and a captivating storyteller. We are impressionable and influenced by others and our environment constantly. How are we even to know the truth when we are looking straight at it? Most often the best we can do it observe ourselves and begin to notice when we engage in a lie. Many times we might say something because we think it is what the other person wants to hear, even though for us we feel and think differently. A little white lie might sneak out because it seems to be easier than the potential response and consequence.
Truth attracts truth. When we take the courageous move towards yoga fear of the outcome no longer holds us in its grip. There is a stable confidence that supports truth to exist more and more in our own thoughts, words and actions and ultimately in our world.
